Delivering the website

The website is delivered through Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you open a page, Cloudflare processes the technically necessary data, in particular your IP address, the date and time, the address requested and information about your browser, to deliver the pages and fend off attacks.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in delivering the website securely and quickly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). Data may be transferred to the USA; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR).

Map

The map on the “Location” page loads only when you click “Show the map”. Your browser then connects to the servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation (St John's Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom), which receives your IP address.

The legal basis is the consent you give by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, section 25(1) TDDDG). The European Commission has issued an adequacy decision for the United Kingdom. Without a click, no connection is made.

Links to other websites

“See availability” leads to the apartment's page at the Eckernförde tourist office and passes on the number of adults and the number and ages of the children you chose, “Get directions” to Google Maps, and the events calendar to the tourist office's website. These providers receive data from you only once you follow one of these links; their privacy policies then apply.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state where you live (Art. 77 GDPR).
